Previous $1 million Powerball winner hits $850 thousand casino jackpot
CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo. (KKTV) - One lucky woman from Colorado Springs just hit the jackpot -- again.
The woman, identified as Rebecca, won Cripple Creek's Wildwood Casino's largest jackpot in the casino's history. While playing a Wheel of Fortune progressive slot machine over the weekend, she won a whopping $805,329.80.
Even more impressive, in 2007, she won the $1 million Powerball.
“I guess I’m just a lucky person,” said Rebecca according to a release sent Monday.
Rebecca said she was at the casino celebrating her father's birthday.
The winner beat out the previous jackpot record for the casino from 2011 of $678,198.
“I’ve been in the gaming industry in this town for 26 years and have never seen a jackpot of this size," said Wildwood’s director of gaming, Mike Chaput. "What a fun day for all who were involved.”
